Current Responsibilities

As International Director of LaSalle Investment Management, Inc. and CEO of CalEast Global Logistics, LLC, Mr. Blackwell is fully accountable for member relationships and investment performance. His primary responsibilities are to manage the executive-team members, serve as the resource manager to the regional teams and to develop and execute investment strategy across North America and, recently, Europe and the UK. In addition, Mr. Blackwell serves and the executive member on the boards of over $1.4 billion of joint venture relationships with public and private companies. Mr. Blackwell has overall accountability for acquisitions, dispositions, development (both build-to-suit and speculative), joint ventures and land investments.

Education and Affiliations

He is a member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Managers, the National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties. Mr. Blackwell graduated from the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, Indiana with a B.S. in economics.
